Capos
Since 1980 the Shubb capo has set the standard against which all others must be measured. It is the first choice ... often the only choice... of more than a million musicians worldwide. The serious guitarist will settle for no less. What makes the Shubb capo so special? For one thing, its ingenious design: a patented locking action which provides an unrivalled combination of power, speed, accuracy and ease of use. One smooth flip of the lever locks it securely in place... and removes it just as quickly.
And the Shubb capo doesn't create tuning problems. Its soft, resilient rubber is specially designed to work just like a fingertip, so it doesn't bend the strings over the frets. Its closing action is just like your hand, so it doesn't pull the string off center. As a result, no re-tuning is necessary!
Precisely machined of brass and carefully hand assembled, a Shubb capo is manufactured without compromise. Simply holding one in your hand conveys a sense of quality. Snapping it solidly onto a guitar neck, and then removing it, all within about one second, will confirm its reputation for excellence.
AXYS Guitar Slide
While in use, the bronze slide is a hefty, no-compromise tool that features unsurpassed tone and control. When rotated behind the hand (which takes less than a second) it leaves all the fingers free for unencumbered, conventional fretting. It works so well because of the unique 2-piece design: the Delrin "ring" section remains in place on the finger as the bronze "sleeve" section is rotated with the thumb. The move is done with one hand, so quickly that it doesn't interrupt a solo, and any player can master it with very little practice. The revolutionary advantage of the AXYS reversible guitar slide is immediatly apparent to anyone who plays slide guitar!

We suggest using the Axys on your RING FINGER.
Many slide players have designated their pinky as the slide finger, probably because with the traditional tubular slides or bottlenecks this was the best way to gain some limited use of the other fingers for fretting. Since the AXYS offers such unrestricted use of all the fingers, we encourage you to consider reassigning the slide to the ring finger or even the middle finger. Most players find this to provide greater control and versatility. It will work just fine on your pinky, of course, but this is a whole new ballgame now and you don't want to overlook any good possibilities!

Shubb-Pearse guitar steels feature unique cutaway ends for improved control, and a semi-bullet tip for easy movement across the strings. Specially shaped for proper balance, each steel is machined from solid brass and is heavily chrome plated for smooth action. Designed by players, these are among the highest quality steels available.
